Tiring day!! I'm living life to the fulless
Finally found a job!! Started working yesterday and tomorrow morning will have to go to work again. Well, I pretty much like this job. It is working in a garlic bread factory. Love the smell there. Very Power. The pay is quite high !! (A$16.75 per hour) as compare to Singapore or working for chinese boss in Australia. But when you come to think of it, the living expenses down here is like crazy lor. Really miss the chicken rice just below my block in Singapore. It only cost S$2.50 for a plate. Here I think will cost you easily A$9+, somemore not that nice also.
Today I wanna wish myself Happy Birthday again !! HEHEHE, Lunar calendar is the 7th month again. Yesterday was the Chinese Valentine's Day. Nothing pretty much happened, I go to work and on the way back when to Chinatown to get some fish head for crabing. I am pretty much a crabber these days. Actually wanna catch some crab down at Graceville but there was too many people there yesterday evening. Shawn and I was scare that our crab net will be stolen so we decided to change to another place to place out nets. Finally we decided to go Indooroopilly Golf course area where there is a small pontoon which we can tie our crab pot to. I remembered we tie the crab pot to the pontoon around 6:30pm then we left home for dinner.
Yesterday while I was at Chinatown with Shawn, I suddenly have the crave for "Bah Kut Tay". Then got myself 1 KG of pork ribs. That was for dinner but when I was about to start cooking, I realised that I want more soup which would require about 2 KG of pork ribs. So I ended up having to go to Toowong's Coles to get somemore. In the end I cooked a huge pot of "Bah Kut Tay" soup. Really nice :P Love it and I got my neighbour - Kelly with bf and Ernest to come and try my Soup. After that, I pack some ribs and soup for Sandy. After all, I did promise her that I will cook "Bah Kut Tay" for her to try once. It's a Singapore delicacy.
Before leaving to check on my crab pots, had a chat with my friend from Shanghai, Ellen. She just recieved the parcel I sent her. She said that: How is it possible for me to arrange for the parcel to reach Shanghai on Chinese Valentine's Day? I was like.... This is a secret :) Nothing pretty much of a secret as I know that the time taken for a parcel to reach Shanghai is about 5 to 7 days. Then I was lucky enough to get the parcel there on time. Lucky..........
Then it was off to check on my crabs..... Hoping to catch a few of them in mind. Off we go to the pontoon. I was like hoping to catch some crab when I was about to put up the crab pot. To Shawn and my surprise, guess what we caught!!! WE caught a SHARK !! About 50cm long. A small one. Big head. I was like going crazy at that time. I have never caught anything like this before. Shawn was sad to see the shark got caught in the net. Then he said if we are not going to eat it then we should release it. Cause shark need to swim to breath. So he got a scissor and cut the crab pot net to release the shark. He also go check out on the web what sort of shark is that. Found out that what we caught is a Bull Shark. Too bad we never bring along our camera yesterday night. If not that will be a winning photo !!! The shark seems very tired when we release it. I think the shark must have stuck in the net for a few hours liao. Might have use up most of it strength trying to get out. Then my the other crab pot was a failure. Nothing at all. Come to think of it, there are SHARKS in Brisbane River !!!! Really can scare the hell out of people. Thus, remember never to swim in Brisbane River!! After that we kept everything and send Shawn back home.
It was around 11+pm, I decided to send the "Bah Kut Tay" soup to Sandy. Don't want the soup to be kept overnight for too long. If not later not nice liao. Drove down to her place and pass her the soup with a roll of galic bread which I got from the Factory where I was working. After giving her the soup and bread, both of us got to the city and get a drink before heading back home for a good night sleep.
This morning, I set my alarm clock to ring at 10pm. Yes, it did ring but I wake up just to press the off button and went back to sleep. Suddenly I recieve a call from Brandon. He was asking me where is the lecture going to take place. Then he ask where was I? I was like : Shit! what is the time now? Then he told me that it was 11:45am and lesson starts at 12pm. I hurriedly wash up and rush to school. After class, went to the lab. to do some thesis reading. Finally finish the paper I am reading. Anyway, It was raining when lessons finish. Stay on in school to read till the rain stop. Then head to the post office on my way back. Went to post a parcel to my cousin, Gladys. She is so cute and adorable. I think she is pretty stress up about her new Secondary School. Let's hope my gift for her will be able to brighten up her day for her.
Got to pen off already. Need to change and go to Sandy's karaoke session. Tomorrow is her birthday so she is having a pre birthday party where we could sing our hearts out. So here, I would firstly like to wish her Happy Birthday and may your every wish comes true.
I love you mum, really miss her.
